A VISIT TO HEMMERLE'S NEW SALON IN MUNICH
After more than a century on Maximilianstrasse, the Munich jewellery house Hemmerle has left its historic shop for a private salon a few doors down, where an entire floor has been turned into an intimate showroom. Led since 2021 by Christian and Yasmin Hemmerle, the fourth generation of the family, the house now receives its clients by appointment, in rooms where jewellery and art sit side by side.
In the grand salon, a work by Pia Maria Raeder alongside armchairs by Pierre Jeanneret. The new salon feels like a return to what Hemmerle has always been at heart: “jewellery for connoisseurs rather than passers-by, for encounters rather than shop windows.”
