Both a think tank and a research engine, the BSL gallery presented a detailed dialogue between the decorative arts of the 20th century and the art-design of the 21st century, a porous discipline pushed into a new dimension.
Since 2018, here it is, on rue des Beaux-Arts, pursuing a “cosmopolitan” editorial work of creations by Djim Berger, Faye Toogood, Charles Kalpakian, Taher Chemirik, Nacho Carbonell, Pia-Maria Raeder, Isabelle Stanislas, Studio MVW, or Gildas Berthelot.
Today, BSL refines its collaboration with Nada Debs, a designer of Lebanese origin sharing her life between Beirut and Dubai, as part of a collection published in limited series. Winner of the Grand Honor Prize of the first Design Prize of the Institut du Monde Arabe in 2023, Nada Debs was this year the president of the jury. Otherwise, Béatrice Saint-Laurent will take part from October 18 to 22 in the new Germanopratin fair.
