With Soft Objects, Gaspard Fleury-Dugy turns knitting into an architectural material. Each work arises from a meticulous and hybrid process: the artist first programs the knitting machine, then knits the piece himself before re-knitting it by hand to give it volume and tension. This constant dialogue between artisanal gesture and digital precision gives his knitted sculptures a dimension that is both technological and deeply sensitive.

The vibrant surfaces and supple volumes evoke ancient amphorae, the curves of Oscar Niemeyer, and the graphic energy of the Memphis movement. Fluorescent hues, inspired by sportswear, infuse each piece with a kinetic intensity. With Soft Objects, Gaspard Fleury-Dugy invents a new grammar of thread that redefines our perception of contemporary design and textile.
