By leading figure in contemporary architecture French Isabelle Stanislas, who joined in 2019 the exclusive group of 100 international Interior Designers chosen by AD USA, the 'Ellipse' Bench speaks for the designer’s talent and capacity to invent her own language, both concise and striking, in which an asserted yet peaceful radicality forms a perfect equilibrium. This bench is based on the masterful conjugation of three materials: white Estremoz marble, black Marquina marble, and bronze-colored patinated brass. Each marble is imagined both individually and in association with the striking choice of a striped motif. A quasi kinetic visual game materializes in the extremely powerful yet contained graphic composition created by the combination of the black and white lines of the marble and the patinated brass elements. Isabelle Stanislas’ ‘Ellipse' Bench is exclusively produced and sold by Galerie BSL in a limited edition of 8 pieces + 4 artist proofs.
